Hardware {Q} getting a Vita... memory card Q.

Hi I want to get a vita. and for the memory card
is there something else as a replacement, because the
Sony memory cards are Highly over priced. so like a sd card adapter?

No, unfortunately there's no replacement for the ridiculous proprietary memory cards. You have to pay for them.

Probably not. It's possible some homebrew application to compress applications or something along those lines could be made, but the card itself is proprietary hardware and mostly impossible to create an adapter for.

I just sucked it up and bought a 64GB memory card. They are expensive and it's painful, but third parties are not going to start making cards at this point, and Sony aren't going to release a bigger card. 64GB card prices will shoot up once piracy is achieved.
