Hardware PSP LCD Reair Error

My friend gave me his PSP a while back for my birthday. Sometimes the LCD would go black and I'd have to wait for it to turn on again to get the buttons to work. I've never had a PSP before so I looked up info on it. I tried to take the LCD out myself but I ended up pulling out a piece that was on the motherboard in doing so.

Anyone know if I can fix this? Or am I screwed?

Looks like the whole socket/connector came off, usually I just solder two wires to it.

If only the clips broke off you should be able to bend the gold contacts down more to get a tighter fit on that cable.

That connector is for the backlight.

Wait so I just need to solder it?
What would I need? And btw I've never soldered anything before
