This is the guide from the official hackers not me. Unfortunately this is the only guide available. @Exavold got pretty far ask him. He actually managed to get the game onto his console.

Yes , but It won't boot , probably because of my FW.
Though some games do work on 4.80 ? I still don't get it.

Download the update using PSNStuff ; and extract the PKG using PKGView.

Once you've done that ; copy the EBOOT(s) from the update to the game you should've patched earlier

Should be good for the update part.

(You can change the game's version in PARAM.SFO using HxD if you want but I'm pretty sure it's not useful to run the game)

Its so that your system actually thinks you have the game license.
