Well you could, but I can't imagine what you could add that the makers of the cart couldn't. But yes, you could, if you directly used hex editing/ coded your own software to make it work.

i can't seem to find anything with a hex editor (i'm just looking for some hints for now)

seems like I'm starting to figure some things out after dumping the arm9, arm7, etc. bin files of the flashcart rom. the backup.bin has some split jumbled structure version of some parts of the bin files

trying to extract and replace files but once i try to re-pack such replaced files it turns into a much larger file (probably doesn't retain hex structure either)
