Right, you can't give perfect evs in every stat or give anything they can't learn or have. So it really isn't as scary as everyone says. The only major thing is more shinies that are actually usable in combat.
It's still probably going to be a hassle to move dudes from a flashcart game to a legit game and then a legit game to the bank and bank to XY. It won't stop the flow but it may prove to be more work than it's worth for people who don't really care that much.
