Pokemon Ultra Moon not booting up

i downloaded a .cia of ultra moon and it just wont boot up and just shows a black screen. ive tried deleting it then reinstalling the cia from a different website and the same thing happens. i also tried downloading pkmn ultra sun but i had no luck. i tried to import a seed and it still didnt fix it. im using an old 3ds xl btw.

yeah i have. i changed it from japan to usa

Had you completed a system format from what the guides tell you to for fixing the issues extended memory mode games have when region changing? It will be recommended to backup everything before hand

only things ive seen mentions making sure the NNID and settings country and region are all the same.

update: its not even letting me delete my NNID to make a new one. it give me the same 005-5602 error code

I am experiencing the exact same issue expect I have done no regional changes to my 3ds xl, got any advice? Much appreciated.

Yeah i have the same issue.it installs then when I load it up black screen.
Is it because of eur version? In in usa btw
