Pokémon Sun & Moon

The first details for Pokémon Sun & Moon have been revealed. These details come via the first footage of the game which showcases some new Pokémon including the starters and the legends. It will be released on November 18th 2016 in the US and Japan and November 23rd in Europe. The game takes place in the Alola Region and th three starters are the Grass/Flying Rowlet, the Fire-type Litten and the Water-type Popplio. The Japanese trailer also confirms that you can alter your skin pigment in the game, just like X & Y. Keep checking back as we get more details.

They could have made a better engine on top of the X&Y engine. This is Gen VII after all

If you hear in the Japanese trailer you can hear the menu select sound it sounds same as x and y and oras

I dunno, to me it looks like it could be a completely new engine. Nintendo tends to avoid using things over and over again like that. We already had ORAS and X and Y use that engine I doubt they will add more games to it.

It also looks like this game is dropping the grid more than XYORAS did and the battle scene looks a bit revamped. (Trainer behind Pokemon)

It doesn't look that different, I bet it's the same engine with a few tweaks

Gotta be honest, I think they're finally running out of ideas. The Sun legendary just looks like Entei, the Moon legendary reminds me of Noivern for some reason, the starts are the same three types AGAIN (seriously, would change kill you?), nothing much seems to have changed from X/Y/OR/AS. I'm sure they'll be enjoyable games but to me Pokemon is like CoD now. It's just kinda...there. Just in the background, not worth being hyped over. They need to make a major change to get my attention now, get the series out of the stagnant swamp it's been mired in for several generations now.

Rinse repeat.

They modfiled the engine and gen 5 and 4. And gen 2 and 1 did same as well

I still don't know what starter should I chose I guess it depends on their final evolution. Also much bigger fun of sun version because that Lion looks so cool. And by the looks of it they improve engine a little. Characters are in full size and better camera view. Can't wait to play it.

It looks good from just the trailer, the starters look a little strange to me, but they're alright, although Litten looks interesting. I like the Moon legendary a bit better than the Sun one. I'll probably be getting both games, though
