ROM Hack Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver Mods

Great hack that you are doing and now for some helpful ideas.

-Could you change the rivels magneton to magnezone?
-Use different sprites for male and female pokemon like in bloody platinum.(different poses)
-Change some pokemon shiny version because some have very sucky shiny colors like Heracross, Crobat, Infernape, Blastoise, LUGIA(It's pink!!!!

) , and many more.
-Change Red's battle theme to a different one. (maybe put in a new one?)

These are only ideas to consider not a request. Anyway great hack

[*]I don't know if in first beta it was already done but in mine (not released yet), all Rival's pokemon evolves after his defeat at Victory Road
(after he say changing this way of training, as Golbat need affection to evolve

I agree, it's stupid your rival doesn't have a magnezone >.<
Maybe change Lugia's shiny version with shadow Lugia?

The name "Pokemon Corrupted Silver" comes to mind.What do you mean by "corrupted", I don't remember put legendaries everywhere, I'll just make an alternative to catch Safari/Pokewalker exclusives in wild but they will be still rare to encounter them.

Yeah, I hadn't seen this.
All screenshots are taken with no&gba so they are some issues like the transparency for U-Turn attack in the first one.

Can help someone help me try and figure out a way to patch this on a mac?I think xDelta doesn't work on mac but NitroExplorer works, no ?

You talk about the fake Bloody Silver release ?
Otherwise, I think pokemon fusion is possible, like with Mantyke's evolution.

Ok, I will replace shiny Lugia by shadow Lugia.
But since I managed to add Zoroark, I will I'll include it with

Beside, I recreated this back sprite because it was too small and now it looks like this:

It's only missing a second frame for battle animation and moves's sprites (if you want doing them) and the cry.

and when will the next beta of expert mod come out? I think u should add more pokemon to those route trainers, and increase the wild pokemon level a little bit (or a lot).

Tonight I will post the new version of Exclusives Mods (with Safari/Pokewalker exclusives and Soul Silver compatibility), Zoroark / Shadow Lugia Hack.
And for Expert Mod, I stopped testing it but I'll still release the beta balanced until Pryce

btw, i personnally don't like about having those uber in the wild. It make the game look unofficial, and it will be hard to form a team.

But normally they are quite rare (~5%) so it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't have so much time to play but, with luck, I'll finish the game next week so I can continue balance this mod.

Yeah, I mainly use PPRE for this.

Edit : And while I'm here, I'm not going to release anything tonight,
I prefer do it tomorrow so I can correct Johto's trainers in Expert Mod.

seriously? there's only about 13 folders and 500 different files inside the pokemon rom folder. you need to elaborate a little more. i figured it out but not thanks to the directions.

I just wanna let you know, your instructions that come with the file SUCK! it takes you deep into a random pokemon folder and there's no way to navigate out of it and you assume people know wtf to do once inside a rom. once you load the rom, your instructions fail from then onward.

yeah i know it's a real pain to understand how to patch with NitroExplorer at first, I will add some screens for this.

Choose Cyndaquil > Rival starter pokemon is Piplup or Squirtle
Choose Chikorita > Rival starter pokemon is Charmander or whatever Pokemon

I replaced Chikorita especially cause he's weaker than other starter and also cause he's not really adapted for Silver
so I do not intend to replace Cyndaquil or Totodile for now
