So I've installed NTR, ran it and watched it fail and that still didn't work either. Also tried downloading the FreeShop version and that didn't work. I know nothing of modding so if anyone can point me towards what I'm actually running, that'd be great. I've been trying for days now
what cfw are you using?
sysnand emunand?
firmware version?

wait, you dont know what you using? o.o

Yeah I just had a friend mod it for me so I don't really know. When I put the SD card in my PC it's says emunand. Firmware is 11.2, or whatever the most current one is now. I've updated it, I know that much. Sorry for the ignorance, I wasn't there when he did it and have no clue how to do it, so that's why I'm not entirely sure

I got it working on emunand using gateway.
Very easy but it did took me a while of research and testing.
1. In emunand, just install NTR cfw. (Its a cia file, just install it using fbi or bluemanager etc)
2. Load the ntr cia and it should load ntr cfw
3. Then back to home and load game and use pokemon bank should work.

I would like to add, to get this to work with retail carts:

1: boot into gateway mode (not classic mode) normally.
2: remove your gateway card from the system.
3: insert your retail cart and then press select.
4: after the menu appears, press B and wait like 5 seconds.
5: after the cart appears to load, go to ntr and launch.
6: after it loads/fails, press home and go to the pokemon bank.
7: enjoy

I'm contacting the guy who did my 3DS now to figure out exactly what I'm running so I can maybe get a better understanding of what needs to be done.

I know what SysNAND is, you very much misunderstood me. If I do that I won't be able to use my Acekard since I'm on an incredibly old firmware on purpose and only using EmuNand. There's no iteration of me installing something to my SysNAND; I want that to stay right where it is.
Luma3ds has the white list disable, even iirc you can use the flash cards that were blocked on a dsi update, there is no reason to be on a lower firmware, you should install a9lh

Okay so I talked to the guy. He says I have emunand with Luma. Anybody have any idea what I should do to get Bank working with that in mind?

alright well lets try
- go to fbi - delete pokebank and ticket
reinstall pokebank + update(free shop/ciangel)
test if bank works
if no try running ntr
test bank

ntr seems to have to be ran every time you turn on your 3ds

Alright, just need to know what FBI is and what ticket? Pardon my ignorance, I really know next to nothing when it comes to 3DS mods/hacks

I have the same problem.

Running on a Gateway 3DS Emunand 11.6.

Its funny thing that Legit Pokebank detects my Ultra Sun save on my Gateway Cart but my Alpha Sapphire didn't same thing with
the Legit Pokemon Y on my SD Card installed.

Please help me out of this.
