I have tried so many times renaming etc...
I'm using a supercard mini sd version with superpass 2~
I don't know my firmware version but as far as i know my NDS is not one of the new geneation models. (Silver)

When I unzip it. There are a no. of files and I have dragged everything to my mini sd. When I loads my DS up I can only see 3 files whcich ends with .bin. I clicked on 3 of the, but all stuck on the "gameboy" screen. I'm trying to look for the make_nds.bat but its no where in sight in my DS. (but its in the folder it just doesnt show up in the supercard patcher)

Can anyone please help me? I'm very new to homebrew.

*I know its a bit off topic but can anyone also tell me how to run beup v2? Bascially after I started the one ends with .nds it prompt to a screen tat says cannot connect firmware.... and the keyboard (bottom) went frozen!

I remember you had to chuck that exe file into 'ndstool' and then rename the extension to .nds or something along the likes of that... will try to help tmrw if no answers come... gotta sleep now

Did you not think to realize that .exes run on your PC and NOT the DS?

1: Flash your DS before your Superpass2 consumes it and breaks it permanently.

2: (ok, make sure you're using the 11-27 build with the latest superdat)Once you unzip the Snes DS folder on your PC, run snesDS.exe on your PC, add the files and hit (I think it was) create. That will create a ds.gba, rename that to .nds and run it on your DS.

Flashing makes everything easier. Let me try to explain how I made a working rom image for my setup. I have a supercard mini sd and a ritek 1 gig card, my ds is a lite and it's flashed. Here's how I did it;
1. Find working roms on the compatibility list that you have access to.
2. Download the snesds pkg from here... Snesds Page (it's the very top link.)
3. Download the snesds binary dated 11-27-2005 from the same site.
4. Extract files from snesds pkg to a folder caled snesds, then extract the 11-27-2005 binary to that same folder. You will get a prompt asking you if you want to overwrite the file, yes you do.
5. Run makends.bat the snesds interface will pop up, click on the folder icon in the lower left corner. This opens a new window that you add your roms to. (make sure you are adding working roms) check the compatibility list here...Compat List
6. Once you load alll the roms you want click on save and a file called snesDS.ds.gba will save to the snesds folder.
7. Rename this file to snesDS.ds.nds and transfer it to your SD card.
8. Turn on your ds and load the snesDS.ds.nds file, may take a few seconds. THEN choose the game you want to play from the touchscreen and hopefully it wil work. I'm playing Tetris/Dr. Mario as soon as I finish typing this.

Hope this works! Good Luck!
