Hacking Please anyone can made a ppf for the wiifit 001 error?

I have PAL Wii (i don't know, but I think with a WiiFree chip) + PAL Wii Fit + description problem exactly how have scaryjones.

If I right understand - all that needs:
1. ISO image Wii.Fit.REPACK.PAL.WII-AMBITION.
2. WiiFitRepackToPatchedOriginal.ppf from bojzi.
3. wf-abt.iso + WiiFitRepackToPatchedOriginal.ppf --> ppf-o-matic3.exe --> wf-abt.iso.
4. Burn result wf-abt.iso and run on Wii.

Anything else?

Added: and this not work... after some days hard search in web solution for this problem I think that simple - rechip Wii with WiiKey

Well you could my way, it worked once but has never worked since.

The thing to try is to get the Ambition release, NOT the repack. I never tried the repack but people said not to so...I pass it on without any real reason but there you go.


Get the key.bin

Get Wiscrubber 1.21

Get genericwiipatcher

Open the iso in wiscrubber, follow Dack's instructions (page 2 or 3 of this thread, extracting main2, main 3 and patching them)

Burn the ISO

This worked once for me and has since never worked.

Don't ask why, I've never read of anyone getting it working once and then never again, it's weird and very annoying.

Today I ordered my Tri-wing screwdriver to open the Wii and see what the hell chip i actually have!

Get this for weird -

Just did a last minute attempt at a burn, following all instructions to the letter. I also downloaded the WiiFree config disc 2.51 to see if I could update it (or even if i had a WiiFREE)

The Wiifree disc just gave an error so I tried my very last Wiifit copy...which asked to update again. I said ok and the update worked! Then I tried the game and the game worked...was playing for an hour.

Turned it off and since then it never works. If I try the original disc or my last copy it spins but does nothing, and from that point on I can't use my Wii, the drive will load no other games, I need to power it off and on to get it to work!

I've tried dozens of discs, all work until the Wii fit disc is put in and then never works again. Bizarre.

So, no better or worse off....I know my wii board works but the game now doesn't even register!

This happened to me too. After the update, the iso was properly loaded

but when I insterted it second time, it did not even show up.

Well at least it isn't just me! I've ordered a Tri-wing driver so I'm hoping I'll be able to see what chip i have and then either flash or replace / remove it. All very annoying though.

classic is PIC 12F629, so you have probably a wiifree, but see this:

It started as a rewrite of the popular WiiFree and it is the first modchip to use automatic region configuration, as well as the first open source modchip to let users set the DVD Drive's speed via Setup Disc. It's always released with source code and precompiled hex files for a wide range of suitable PIC chips (12F629, 12F635, 12F675, 12F683, 16F627, 16F627A, 16F628, 16F628A, 16F630, 16F636, 16F639, 16F648A, 16F676, 16F684, 16F87 and 16F88.) From v2.0 and on, it also supports audiofix for GameCube games, as well as Super Mario Galaxy backup (from v1.9) and DVD-9.

Availability: Available (Released in April, 2007)

so you might be able to upgrade or at least reprogram it (dunno if the update dvd is enough though

might need a chip pic programmer )

So... for the guys with a wiifree, all we can do is upgrade?

my brother got wii-fit for his birthday about an hour ago and it doesn't work, i've read through every single post of all the 8 pages in depth and all us WiiFree-ers are having the same problems, what should i try first? i'm lost after reading so many successful and unsuccessful posts. I have the retail pal and my wii is pal aswell

you can just try the gecko region free

although you will start from jan 1

but it works with the original disc

i will download test this gecko region free and update my progress, just curious though, how could this help? both the original release and wii are pal. So this just helps my wii read it ?

if you still wanna have to try the gecko region free

you can install the homebrew channel from an iso

thats why you can just go off and buy dvds first

its so lame that only a few modchips (or just wiifree) have this problem, apparently my uncle has a solution to this my dad tells me 0_o

I'm gonna go call him and i will keep everyone notified

EDIT: it was crap, he just tried unplugging the wii, plugging it back in, powercycling, putting older games in and then wii sport, restarting wii all that jazz and after aout 15 minutes it worked.

Does the patch work for NTSC wiifit? If not can someone guide me on how to make one, my friend's original disk isnt working and I am assuming they have a non-updatable mod-chip, because it works on my 1.9s wiikey
