ROM Hack Pkhex on Mac High Sierra

Hey so I have some problems running pkhex on Mac OS High Sierra. I tried running it directly through wine, didn't work. Using it with winebottler seemed to work at first but when I try to open it, it shows the same error I got with the first option an that is: "A fatal non-UI has occured in Pkhex, and there was a problem displaying the details. Please report this to the author." What should I do?
