The first picture is a solid one, it should works.I'm always so impressed by the back mosfet installations everyone posts here. Could anyone lend some advice? I've tried 3 separate times on 3 separate OLEDs but always get the same issue... ==* Error and boot to OFW.
I used a lot of lead free solder in my last attempt as you recommend @abal1000x but still nothing
The same system booted instantly with my usual $0.90 AliExpress cpu flex.
Maybe the gate cable are shorting when you place it back, to the case to test it.
The problem with 'enameled' wire is when its scrached with the sharp edge such as the pcb edge. The best one if you bought the 40awg 'insulated' wire on aliexpress. I have use it, and its my best cable now. The cons is only the price.
Or you soldered it to the wrong pin in the pcb, which i assume you didn't.

Just saying this is the 1V line you might used.I'm always so impressed by the back mosfet installations everyone posts here. Could anyone lend some advice? I've tried 3 separate times on 3 separate OLEDs but always get the same issue... ==* Error and boot to OFW.

These 1V line from the Max ic will goes to the front pcb
And that eventually will be used by the cap on the cpu.
So the difference between using the front point and the back point only lay on the 'parasitic caps', which i think its not a major factor on the glitch, since the timing will be automatically search by the firmware. I could be wrong though who knows.
