I think we can see the 5 protagonists (or at leasts their bodies) when he walks on the road at 0:39
In the center there's something that looks like a publicity screen and we can see five people. I think the one on the right kinda looks like the character we saw. Or the second from the right
Looks like there is one girl, second from the left. The middle character seems to wear a blue uniform while the others wear black ones. MC ?
Am I wrong ?

You just said it looks like a "publicity screen" then dismiss the idea of it being an ad. It's clearly an ad. Sure, in Persona 4 we see a playable character in a TV advertisement, but I don't think you should think of it as a trend.
