I'll try that one. That game is the one I'm using though and it works. I may have messed up the XMLs, but I'm pretty sure I didn't.Im currently unable to launch "Dr. Kawashima Brain Training"
I don't know if IOS is needed.
maybe it's not needed, and just "switching" the titleID in memory could be done to allow online (we tried, it didn't work, but there are maybe other places to edit as it still have ssb in memory), or IOS could help but be optional (like patching the network functions), or IOS is required to edit the current game's ID.
we still have things to try.
Currently we are focusing on a GUI.
one step at a time
...
we will still work on fixing online. we need time.
sooo....the 5.5 hack isnt being released yet because they want to see if nintendo will patch the exploit? i dont understand, do they want nintendo to patch it or...? how can nintendo even know what exploit they found if they havent released it yet?
thanks for trying to explain, im too dumb to understand how and what they are doing but at least im glad that the scene is moving fast now.I supposed they want to wait until Nintendo patch the "hole" that the exploit use to work, more firmware compatibility i think, if they release the 5.5 exploit now Nintendo will fix it in the next update. It's better if they wait and keep working in a EmuNAND option

guess i will wait instead of buying a new wii u.
That's the DLC (add on content) folder, right? or at least, it's the folder's name.open the content folder. create a new folder named "0010" (without quotes), copy files and folders from original content folder here and try again.
nope all NDS vc games actually use the content/00010/ path it seems.....maybe originally the file path was going to be titleID or build date or somethingThat's the DLC (add on content) folder, right? or at least, it's the folder's name.
Virtual console are using DLC purchases instead of full titles?
I'm curious as to why Loadiine only works with 5.3.2 vs 4.1.0 or any older Firmware that's been exploited?
currently the browser exploit is the only known entrypoint, without finding a new more stable exploit, this isnt going to happen......so yeah is a crystal ball question, and yeah you always need to run the kernel exploit after rebootingOK, so I set up the directory structure on my SD card according to these instructions , I have 5.3.2 Firmware , I have Nintendo Updates blocked through OpenDNS , and I was able to successfully run the loadine kernel followed by Loadine v4 through the links here.
However, after turning off the console, I can't just run Loadine again. It says "No Ksploit" so I have to run the exploit again each time, which doesn't always work so it's not exactly kid friendly. (and sometimes even after successfully running the exploit Loadine still says no Ksploit) I could try just not shutting it off, but Loadine itself freezes on the menu sometimes. So I guess what I am wondering is if we should soon see an approach that doesn't require running the exploit each and every time.
there is 2 modes to choose when in the loadiine menu smash mode or miimaker mode, with loadiine 4.0 the difference is virtually non-existant (there may be 1 or 2 games with issues between versions).....just read up if your bothered to know how/why it works, or just ignore it and carry on using it without knowing the nitty gritty detailsAlso, the instructions were not really clear on the role that Super Smash Bros has. I mean, I have it in the drive, but at no point does it tell me to run it or anything. I'm really confused about that.
yeah you can backup and dump your eshop games, but just plain dumps, not unique with your personal purchase details........and even if you could they wouldn't serve any purpose the ticket would be signed for that specific console, you couldn't just install them on another machineand as far as backups go: Can games I purchased and downloaded to the internal hdd be moved to the FAT32 SD card with this? Any way to back those up? I purchased more of those games than physical ones this time around only because of how cheap the cases were (seriously, they used a recycle symbol behind the disc to cut costs on the already thin plastic, and notated below that it is not recycled or recyclable) but I'd rather have these backed up than my physical discs (preferably with my purchase credentials in case the console ever dies and I can't transfer)
