When is the best way to do the system transfer? before or after I do the exploit on the N3DS?

Noob question 1. If i do it BEFORE, will the N3DS get the 11.5 from the O3DS thus making it hard for me to homebrew? If NO, will her data be lost when I finally do the exploit?

Noob question 2. Can we actually do a system transfer from OFW to CFW?

Or it does not matter as long as i do not update the N3DS to 11.5?

Thanks guys and awaiting anxiously for a response.

Both consoles must be on the lastest firmware, right now is 11.6. I can't remember If you can use the HBL to spoof the firmware, but even if you can, is easier to install cfw on the N3DS while is still on 11.0 since you can use soundhax as the entrypoint instead of buying a DSi game/Flashcart or soldering. After that you can update and perform the system transfer.

So:
1.- Install the cfw first, then perform the transfer.
2.-Yes, we can

1. No, you can use it a userland mode to obtain Homebrew, if you want CFW in 11.5 use NTRboot with the respectives options of flascards. But you don't lose the data after install CFW

You can update to 11.6 still have almost exploits

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
