This was answered somewhere in this thread but you go to that guy's balloon

Also, how the heck do you guys get treasures for carts? After the entire game, I still don't have enough for the dragon carts. It's really bugging me. :/

I can't believe a game easy as Spirit Tracks have a 32 page topic. I mean, I've got stuck only at the Aboda Village boy, but even this puzzle is pretty simple, it would be a matter of time until I realized the answer. People are rushing the game, instead of thinking. This game is not as hard as some Monkey Island or Maniac Mansion. The game gives enough clues to complete it. Of course, it's not enough for all hearts + all stamps + all rails + all bunnies, but you can beat the game without getting stuck with a little thinking.

OK, I'm not disrespecting everyone, but let's think a little more before asking for help, you are spoiling the fun.

Enough little talk, let's get some help. Are there any diagram out there with the side quests for the tracks/triforce pieces? I'll list what I got.

10 Mega Ice to Kagoron
10 Mega Ice to Goron in Goron City (for the 2 other lava spots at the top part of the map)
10 Mega Ice to Fish lady in Papuchia Village
10 Fish to lady in Hyrule Castle
Boy at Aboda Village to Beedle's Hot Air Balloon
Chief of Whittleton to lady looking for husband at Papuchia Village
Vessel from Wise one at Papuchia Village to Snow Lokomo at Snow Sanctuary
5 cuccos (chicken) from Hyrule Castle to Rael, the Sand Lokomo, at Sand Sanctuary
10 cuccos (you have to make at least 2 trips) from Hyrule Castle to man at Aboda Village
Lumber from Whittleton and Bridge Fixer from Trading Post to Anouki Village for the fence
Iron from Goron City to lumberjack at Whittleton
Rescue the guy from Pirate's Hideout and take him to Papuchia Village

That's all I could remeber. Oh, there's the last one, take 50 bunnies to Rabbitland Rescue.

I'm searching for the Dark Ore sidequest (i've heard it but couldn't get the darkore yet, I know I'll have to take it to Linebeck III, he insists on reminding me after every purchase.

Edit: one more question: how to get the chest above the house right next to the cucco's shop? Using a cucco from the wall above said house is not enough, jumping at an angle from the house below the cucco's shop neither.

I actualy found out how to get that one... you get a Cucco, and start going on the roof on the top right side of the town, so that you jump on the Castle Town Shop. Once you're on there, there's a lion statue beside the garden, which you can hop onto with teh Cucco, and by jumping on the other statue, and then eventually getting to that chest.

Okay, what do I do?

I defeated the Desert Temple, but when it went to the cutscene afterwards in the train, it froze. I go to do it again, and it freezes at the exact same second that it did last time.

Is this due to anti-piracy problems or what?

What do I do?

If I need a save, I won't take it unless I have the 15 stamp reward and have the file named "Link".

@devesh_zelda: just try and try, it's not like lost woods, if you enter cave X, you ALWAYS get to cave Y. Just don't forget that it doesn't matter from which cave you came from. It means that if you are in a straight track you don't need to go ahead, you can go ahead AND backtrack, so don't forget to take notes and it will be okay.

btw, thanks to the other user for the lion's head tip. It just seemed to be too far away to reach that. Thanks anyway.

I just remembered some more sidequests for triforce pieces. There are the train lover quests.

Take train lover from somewhere to Aboda Village (Alfonso).
Take train lover from somewhere in the Fire Realm to Ocean Temple.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

i think only the red mario kart edition phat was v5

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
