Hardware Nintndo did something weird with Switch's cartridges

So yesterday I read on one spanish gaming news site that Nintendo put one substance called "denatonium benzoate" on Switch's cartridges. This substance makes the cartridges taste bad (Nintendo put that to avoid little kids eating the cartridges by accident).

I couldn't believe it, so today, when I got BoTW and 1 2 Switch I instantly licked (very little btw) the plastic from the cartridge, and... yes, they taste bad

If you are still doubtful give your Switch cartridges a little lick (or grab one cartridge and then lick your fingers)

You wonder if it's fake news. If you taste an NDS cart (not recommended, btw) it tastes fine.

i thought the something weird was about the fact the catridge cases being so big for a small cartridge..
notice how nintendo put theese little cartridges in ps4\xbox sized cases in a way to tell people "it's a home console" (that you can take anywhere)
there is not even a manual (at least some people claimed BOTW didn't had a physical manual) or any justification to be a big box..
it's just a big box so psychologically people will understand it's a home console...

Not at all. I know exactly what this stuff is, it is used in antifreeze because propylene glycol is very, very bad. This stuff is also used commonly in hazing rituals because it is the most bitter substance known that is safe to ingest.

Sorry then It just pisses me off because some people actually describe products as dangerous because they are use in this and that chemical stuff. But Water is the most used solvent in chemical industry, so should we stop drinking it?
