Oh, glad to see it is not only me! Thought the cable was damaged or something. Yeah, forcing to PAL 60 will display NTSC games with colours, but still red screen in Nintendont's menu.
r284 -added basic support for the triforce bios obtainable from virtua striker 4
(segaboot.img1), simply place it into your device root and rename it to
segaboot.bin, triforce games now should start using it, if you want to enter its
test menu press start while the media board init message is on screen . - Virtua Striker 4 runs on wiii and WiiU
Well have fun trying to get this to work, its pretty basic and will most likely not work for most people:

Can i quit nintendont with the button combo? Or does it only restart the game?
I would but it runs @50hz, with no option for 60hz unfortunately, ill just have to use composite cables and run NTSC but the image will be pretty bad :/or you could you know get the pal version of the game?
im a pal user that uses rgb on my wii and i never had any issues with the picture and all my games are ntsc i think its becuase the users tvs dont acept the signal or something my lcd screen has no issues with rgb pal wii with ntsc games forced ntsc or auto and nintendont was never red for me.The loading screen is in NTSC sistem, and this signal is forced trough RGB cable, and the pins are forced to output other signal than they normaly do.
It would be nice if Nintendont could output on loading screen in PAL sistem to. There ar many users who have the RGB cables.
on the ps3 remote the exit combo is the select button not sure on the ps4 tbh try select?thanks. i use a ps4 remote. the restart button combo works but i need to setup the exit combo. just wanted to make sure it did quit nintendont without restarting the wii u?
wiiu widescreen does fullscree basicaly those bars will always appear becuase the wii or vwii doesn not show full 480p someone gave a very good explanation on why those bars appeared afew pages back but yeah you cant get ride of them, and no you cant use 2 hid devices at the same time so far.also does anyone use widescreen wii u option? i used it last night it does work but i still have a very small lines left and right hand side of my tv screen? any suggestion plz it not really an issue but would be nice to have full screen. and one more thing but i dont think its possible. i wanted to try out multiplayer on nintendont but the only game pads i own right now are 2 ps4 remotes. is it possible too use 2 usb hid devices at the same time?
not sure about autoboot but wiiuwidescreen just stretches it doesnt do widescreen per say the way to get a true 16:9 is the setting force widescreen but be advised manny games randomly freeze with forced widescreen.Good day everyone,
I have 2 quick questions.
First: I can't seem to get auto boot to work, I'm using 282 on wiiu (it's not revision/system specific it's me who's doing something wrong)
I'm using USB Loader GX. I tried booting nintendont loader, changing all my configuration (including enabling auto boot) and started a game (to save the configuration. But once I restart with button combo and go into usb loader gx and I boot a game it takes me back to nintendont without auto boot and all my settings are off (yes: I did change the settings in USB Loader GX).
2nd I noticed a new option recently "wiiu widescreen support" if I enable it the video output in game becomes widescreen and so I can play F-zero GX in widescreen mode with native support. But if I play say mega man X anniversary collection it's stretched to widescreen as there's no native widescreen support.
If I turn it off, then the video mode runs in 4:3 which is great for mega man X collection but F-zero GX is unable to run in widescreen even when enabled (the only way I found to do it is by changing the picture mode manually to widescreen on my TV settings.
So my question regarding this, am I missing something on how this feature works? Is there any way to make the picture mode change dynamically depending on the game so that I don't have to change the video mode myself on my TV everytime I change games?
Thank you for your time,
maybe the pal game can be forced to pal 60Hz? also just becuase a game runs 50hz doesnt means it looks bad imo just 50 frames per second.I would but it runs @50hz, with no option for 60hz unfortunately, ill just have to use composite cables and run NTSC but the image will be pretty bad :/

That depends on how much scaling the developers of the game used, but most GC games don't use it in the first place.
Nintendont would need a way of forcing the horizontal scaling register to a fixed value.
According to yagcd the value looks like this; 0x0100 for games with no scaling, if Nintendont forces it to 0x01F4, the game would now be scaled by 32 pixels. So, there is a way to fix it but it's not really important to do.
Where do I find the "WTF" button?r284 -added basic support for the triforce bios obtainable from virtua striker 4

first any reason why you arent using the ntsc version so you dont need to force anything?Guys, according to the list, 007 nightfire has the following workaround:
"480p and 60hz stops loading first mission cutscene with a new savegame. (Softreset still works). Starting fist mission with 50hz and save the game, restart with 480p or 60hz works over the whole game. (Wii)"
how can i force 50hz so i can bypass this?
first any reason why you arent using the ntsc version so you dont need to force anything?
to force pal50 just go to settings videomode put force then change the bottom layer to pal50, but i still see no reason why you arent using the ntsc version that is always 60hz to begin with.
well i played nightfire enterily ntsc and didnt get any freeze and that is the woraround for the pal version...thanks! I use the ntsc version, but it freezes at first load, didnt you see? so we have to force 50hz, the it loads, save and then back to 60hz again.
