You're going to loose the browser bug if you want to use the adapter with Nintendont:(

What do you mean? I'm already on 5.2.0 anyways. Hackers are working on new exploits as we speak anyways. It's 5.3.0 I don't want to be on, already have SSB, and other hacks are being made for Linux to use all three CPU cores, etc. There's more than just the webkit bug that devs are exploiting. Been on 5.2.0 for some time, actually.

I still feel like an idiot for not seeing where the ini was though. Browser bug is one of many ways the Wii U will be hacked. I mean, you have to be on 5.2.0 in order to use the adapter anyways. If I can't hack the Wii U, I'll get an nVidia Shield and hook it up to an HDTV via HDMI. Emulation galore, even Gamecube, well, slowly but surely.

Yeah same things happening to me. I can load it perfectly from sd card but wben I try to use my HDD it gives me a blank screen. I literally just copy and pasted what I used from my hard drive to my sd card and it worked. Maybe I should just get one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820178706 since sd cards seem to have a lot less trouble with homebrew.

Well I am unable to get the Gamecube Controller Adapter for Wii U to work for Nintendont r225.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I downloaded the controllers.zip file, extracted to the root of my usb hard drive(where my cube games are), downloaded the .ini file for the device and copied it to the controllers folder on the usb hard drive.
Connected the usb hard drive to the top usb on the back of my Wii U, plugged the usb gamecube controller adapter to the bottom usb in the back.
updated Nintendont to r225 on my SD card.

Turned on my Wii U, played Smash Bros, went back to the home screen on the Wii U and booted up Wii Mode. Went into the HBC and then loaded up Nintendo.
Changed the settings for HID and tried to run the game.
I got a black screen every time on every game.
I'm not sure exactly what I did wrong and if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

My wario world (pal) runs fine on nintendont and even on dios mios (pal wii)
tested and played with rev 2.223

iso size and settings?rev number? i used wario worlds before but not on the latest rev but it was working preety well before i did alot of lvls.

I don't think its the fault of the game itself, but the fact that Wario World was the only game I used on dios mios. how would i go about uninstalling dios mios? considering all the games which werent used with dios mios work fine with nintendont, i figure this is worth a shot.

Everyone having problems with 2.225 onwards make sure cheats are turned off if your not using them

controllers.zip file needs to be extracted to the /controllers directory on the drive where your cube games are.

OR

download controller_Nintendo_Wii_U_GameCube_Adapter.ini to the root of the drive where your cube games are and rename it controller.ini

While booth can be done if their is a file for your controller in /controllers it will not look at controler.ini

hid device failed is what im getting now
"Init HID devices... Failed! Shutting down" always displays a second line directly underneath it saying why it failed. What does the next line say?

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
