DIOS MIOS replaces the MIOS, which is used for native Gamecube support. This means it can't be used on a Wii-U.

Nintendont can play Gamecube games in Wii mode, meaning it doesn't replace the MIOS. So you can use both.

Compatibility for games can vary between the two, so it's nice to have both. Nintendont is being actively updated, while DIOS MIOS generally is not. DIOS MIOS can use various Nintendo peripherals, such as memory cards and GBA connectivity, and can use virtual memory cards. Nintendont can't use Gamecube peripherals, but I guess it can use other non-Nintendo devices for controllers. Also, it does not support real memory cards.

I'm not sure if Nintendont has an in-game screenshot tool either.

I made a comparison chart with many GameCube playing method:

DIOS MIOS 2.11 doesn't support Audio streaming, but Crediar released a video showing the feature added to DM/L. It might be released to the public (2.12 or 3.0?).

You can install at the same time:
- Devolution
- Nintendont
- a MIOS Solution (either MIOS, cMIOS, DIOS MIOS or DIOS MIOS Lite)

For the spreadsheet I just want to point out that you can use a real memory card with Devolution, and that it now has screenshot support via wireless network. I forgot to test GBA-GC connectivity though, and I can't do that for a little while...

Edit: To be clear, I'm saying that I've confirmed those things as compatible.

and not reading the messages posted in the thread he bumped. why even use that thread if he doesn't know what it contains?
I provided a link with ALL the comparison with ALL gamecube loaders, he could compare what Nintendont does that DM doesn't. (hey, Guess I'll have to update the chart to add WiiVC info)

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
