Doom 64 doesn't work at VC, however on Not64 i think it will work but with some minor graphical glitches.

I will try to do it as a SRL running in latest Not64 (v20210829) as a Wii VC channel.
it works on wiiu n64 vc xD also the game is dark as hell and you cant see the maps on not64 but play fine if you put brightness to max in the settings of the game itself.

Oh, i was referring to original Wii VC and not Wii U VC xD

There's a hack (NOT A ROM, but a patch) for "increase brightness" to Doom 64 (NTSC & PAL): https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/5544/

I see, thank you very much <3.
A question, did you notice any difference any difference between Not64 and Wii64?

Wii64 (on glN64 GFX) is a bit outdated (last version was in 2020), and some games has issues or are broken; however Not64 (which uses glN64 GFX too) is most updated (last version was v20210829, launched in August 2021) has better compatibility with most N64 games, recently Diddy Kong Racing was fixed and can be playable at 100% (including Adventure Two) without glitches.

But, Wii64 in Rice GFX has a bit better compatibility with other games, but emukidid's one has some issues which is not present in some Mupen64 versions (such Donkey Kong 64 camera glitch). Fortunately, @FIX94 managed to fix those issues in 2017, in this mod of Wii64 (glN64 GFX & Rice GFX): http://github.com/FIX94/Wii64/releases
(Donkey Kong 64 is only playable on @FIX94's Wii64 Rice, because emu_kidid's one has issues)

Anyways, if you're going to try these, here's the links:

Wii64 glN64 & Rice GFX (original from emu_kidid): http://github.com/emukidid/Wii64/releases
Wii64 glN64 & Rice GFX (with some mods and fixes from @FIX94): http://github.com/FIX94/Wii64/releases
Not64 Second Edition (from @Extrems): http://github.com/extremscorner/not64/releases

Recently, emu_kidid (the author of original Wii64) is now adding all fixes from @FIX94's mod, but we don't know when this will be finished and released to the public.

In this case it was that it won't load because the "wiimote is not linked to it". Then I woud have to reset the Wiimote for it, then reset it for my normal nand after I went back to it. Since I don't know what is the exact file that holds the wiimote configuration I used a copy of my nand. Problem is my normal nand is a bit too "fat" for something to use just to.load wiiware, so it would be better to edit the copy of it to remove stuff I don't use.

But yeah, not having to reset the wiimote every time would save battery so knowing how to just copy pasta that file or files would have been useful.

Not to mention I am really annoyed at how so many homebrew programs have "vibrate the wiimote on" hy default, that wastes the batteries really fast.

Is a shame that none of the Wii firmwares have a power save option you can just turn on and off, gorcing you you manually set those settings program by program sometimes.
Bro you gotta invest in rechargeable batteries
