It's an all-in-one NDS solution. No more need for a Passme/Flashcart combo. Jut put your games on it, plug it in the NDS cart slot and play. Only peeve I have with it is it's relative small onboard memory....only 512Mbits.

Its not megabytes....its megabits...all of nintendo's stuff is measured in megabits for some reason...take whatever number you see and divide it by 8...that's the true space.

The ninja team is also making some kind of NinjaDS card that allows SD cards to be put into it...in my opinion, one swift swing with the DS and the Ninja DS will break clean off...I'll stick with a G6 Lite thank you.

There is some confusion in regards to these "ninja" products.. There are actuallyt wo different cards: the Ninjapass, and the Ninja DS. I don't think the two companies are related.

The Ninjapass looks exactly like a DS game and fits flush with the system. But it on;y has 512 mbit onboard memory.

The Nina DS sticks out of the DS but supports SD cards.

I don't think neither of the Ninja Pass can run GBA roms, since it's for the DS card slot.

Junior version can only have one game one the card, while the normal Ninja Pass can store multiple games.

Perhaps there will a sort of passme device to run GBA games from DS flashcards ? (did you say 'useless' ?

No.
The only way to run GBA games off of the ds card port would be by creating a GBA emulator that runs in DS mode. The issue is - The DS card port has higher latency and lower bandwidth then the GBA port. So you can run DS games and GBA games out of the GBA port, but you can't run GBA games directly off the DS port.

So either you would have to emulate, or create some sort of ram cart for the GBA slot that would be loaded with the GBA rom you want to play off of the DS card; which is useless, since it would make sense then just to get a normal flash cart.

If I remember reading correctly the Jr. is just a Pass card with no storage, while the standard will function as a flash card and a pass card.

No, I'm pretty sure martin88 got it right when he said "Junior version can only have one game one the card, while the normal Ninja Pass can store multiple games."

I just bought 2 junior ninja cards a ez4 lite and a g6 lite from winsunx. Do the junior cards double as a passcard as well as holding 1 ds game?

They work as a PassCard, but only when you flash a special file to it. Unfortunately, it's a pretty crappy product, you'll be much happier with the G6 Lite.

I have the NinjaPass Junior... I also have a series of other carts (supercard, m3 etc). the Ninjapass junior is not a crappy product. It might not suit everyones purposes... but this is one pretty decent DS cart. If you need a passme anyway - then this product is really good. The no patching aspect is brilliant. What is not so brilliant is the size limitations. But then you get what you pay for. This is a useful addition to my set of toys. ORiginally bought it for passme uses but have since enjoyed its game playing abilities. IF they can increase the size of memory, improve write times (not as bad as some say it is but it is not as quick as SD/CF solutions) then this product is a winner.
