It's been more than 6 months now since I first started this project. I also realized that the codes I made for this plugin are unique. So... I decided it's time for a release.

What's in the plugin:

  • Power Up Cycle
  • Bottom Item Edit
  • Always Certain Power Up (Fixed minor bug. Instead of writing u32 to the address it wrote u8)
  • Fireball delimiter
  • Invincibility (2 types)
  • Infinite Star Effect
  • Infinite Coins
  • Infinite Lifes
  • Infinite Gold Head
  • Infinite Star Coins
  • Infinite Megashroom (You need to be in mega state for this to work. I'll find a way to always remain in mega effect without actually getting the powerup to activate the code)
  • Holding Invisible Object (Allows you too see unused animations)
  • Moonjump
  • Score Edit
  • Speed Hacks (2 types. Fixed a bug with reverse speed)
  • Time Edit
  • Kill Yourself
  • Max P-Wing Gauge
  • World Changer
  • Invincible Ghost FTL (This is not a real invincible code. You basically become invincible to any object, item or enemy you come contact with. Knowing you can't touch any objects means you can't finish any courses with this code active)
  • Lives Edit
  • Rapid Fire
  • Total Coins Collected

Set Up:
  1. Download the plugin above and extract it.
  2. Create a plugin directory on the SD, then create a new directory inside that with the games Title ID | USA: 000400000007AE00 | EUR: 000400000007AF00 | JPN: 000400000007AD00 | TWN: 00040000000B8A00 | Then drag the plugin inside that folder.
  3. Boot NTR CFW & Load New Super Mario Bros. 2.
  4. Press Select and you should be in the menu.
Some cheats have notes (Press Y on the cheats that have notes in the name to view it).

My Grammar can be bad at times. So, I hope you understood what I said :).

This plugin should be region free. However, I don't think it works on Special edition.

there are only 3 stages for Megashroom hence only needs 3 memory checks 0x0100 (1-2) 0x0504 (5-6) 0x0206 (M-3)
and you can't enter pipe when Megashroom is in effect (World 1-2)

Instead of moon jump do you think you can either add or replace it with multi-jump as moon jump literally makes you fly off the map and can cause you to get stuck very easily, while multi-jump would just allow to jump indefinitely allowing you to go as high as you want (while keeping yourself inside the actual map)

the thing is I code only on 1-1, 1-2, world map & coin rush.

By finding the difference between 1-1 and 1-2

so 1-1 address - 1-2 address = address difference

so finding infinite megashroom on 1-2 I can easily port to 1-1 by doing 1-2 + difference = 1-1 address

So, I don't need to use other courses which is helpful :).

If you can make the code and send it too me it'd be a big help.

yeah that's a problem with moonjump :/, I try to fix that bug it has where you instantly fly into the air. I'll add multijump for fun.

Give me till next week, I've got a few good code ideas :)

Also it'll be part of item cycle, I believe the megashroom had an ID of 5 in the bottom item slot but nintendo must've removed it coming to release. Using the ID 5 crashes the game so I'm finding a fix/bypass.

oops typo, I meant 0x0100 (1-2) not (1-1)
Megashroom is only available in 3 stages, check for those stage values and activate id 5 will turn into Megashroom

Edit: actually your plugin just breaks bowsers castle all together...as if you have enabled anything during the playthrough you won't be able to finish the level. as the platforms in the end with the first bowser bit (before the whole lava phase) the plugin makes you completely miss the second jump for some odd reason.. if I don't enable the plugin at all mario makes the second and third platform just fine..
