New 2DS XL hardware into DSi body

DSi build just feels much more solid and looks better in general imho.
I want to place hardware form n2dsxl into modified dsi body (for example slightly upscaled 3d printed copy), what would I need? Does anyone have similar experience? Where could I order print with similar materials? Any general advices?
