Gaming Netflix: Better via channel or PlayOn?

So Netflix just launched in the UK, and I was trying it on my Wii yesterday. The only problem is, my connection is pretty slow. So I left it paused for a while to buffer. But it seems that it can only buffer about 5 minutes or so like that, maybe some limitation of the Wii. So I was wondering, does it work better via PlayOn? For example if you pause the video, will it buffer the whole thing if you leave it long enough?

EDIT: Nevermind, I tried it and PlayOn doesn't work with Netflix in the UK. (At least, not yet anyway)
