Hacking Need help updating 3ds and getting latest info regarding 3ds

Hi, it's been a while since I've been here. The last time I checked the 3ds scene was when gateway 3ds released GATEWAY ULTRA v3.7.1. I would like to know what I have to do to update my 3ds to the latest firmware. Also, a lot of new things have been released since the last time I was here, so I don't exactly know where to start. Could someone help me update my 3ds to the latest firmware, and/or supply me with a list of everything new that has been released for the 3ds since the last time I was here? I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.

Use that link to setup A9LH on your 3DS. And it's pretty much brick proof, given that you read it all and not skipping any steps.
After you finished all those instructed in there, you should have Luma3DS as your CFW.

The link above will enable you to use gateway in conjunction with luma, so you can have both worlds.
