Hacking Multiman (any version from 4.80-4.82) will NOT install on PS3 Rebug 4.81.2

No matter what I do, Multiman will not Install. the .PKG installs fine, so let me be a little clearer. when I go to actually RUN Multiman, it gives me an error. "failed to install required data, please restart the program" or something like that. anyone know why? I'd really like to put some of my old PS1/2/3 backups onto my HDD. and there are quite a few...

Thanks for that link as I was able to install it too. Now a question, is multiman and webman the same thing?

I downloaded webMAN_MOD_1.47.06_Updater.pkg from the below link, but when I try to install it the system to restarts.

The installer doesn't display anything onscreen. It will restart and then you will see the WebMan MOD category under the Games icon in the XMB.

I was gonna say, it worked for me. lol Now my problem is I can't play my games on it. They're on the XMB though, I assume MultiMAN is meant for backups only?

Not a huge deal then. It's helped me get the games on my PC for RPCS3, the reason I got CFW in the first place. Although, Sony used this weird trick to get Demon's Souls as a digital title as it was initially disc only, as it mounts the game files as a BD, plus has a file called ISO2PAK.dat. I'm trying to figure out what tools I can use to make it specifically a BluRay game since RPCS3 sees it as a disc game and won't boot because it fails to mount as the emulator can't launch digital titles that were put together like that.

Hey, I do have still problems with multiMAN. I used your fixed version to install. When I start then multiMAN the screen just keeps being black. . . I don't get any terms to accept. I jailbroke the system before successfully with the newest version of FERROX. Any ideas what problem I am encountering? If needed I can give you more details. Any checker said, that I jailbroke the system correctly and with that I assume, that I haven't bricked my system in any way.

Try redownloading MM or switching to REBUG CFW. Or both. The brewology download was broken, in the sense that one of the files was corrupted to begin with, and thus had nothing to do with my connection. The sendspace link to MM worked because no file was corrupted. Usually if a file is corrupted or the download itself completed but somehow still corrupted, it will end with what yourey experiencing, a black screen and a headache. Ferrox for me is riddled with issues, which is why i recommend REBUG. All I can suggest is it to try the download again and or switch your CFW.
