Just received a used Wii U, everything appears to be working so far. Messed around with homebrew a bit but not too much, have a few questions before I do anything else.
If I use the exploit to permanently install The Homebrew launcher, are there any ways that It can result in my console becoming bricked? (uninstalling the game, moving the channel around, updating the console, etc)
If I use the Brazilian method to install games to a USB drive, are there any risks of bricking and would there be any problems if I were to remove the USB drive and use the console?
If a brick did occur, is there any easy fixes? (On Wii, you could use bootmii and restore a backup, but I couldn't find anything like this for the Wii U )
If anyone has any tips on avoiding bricking, I'd really appreciate it, I'd hate to do something stupid like install the wrong thing or open the wrong app and accidentally brick. (I bring this up because somebody said that user-created homebrew can cause a brick, I haven't messed with much because knowing me I'd probably come across the one app that screws me over lol)
Thanks in advance.
