Modded Switch won't boot after long sleep period

I have a modded (chip installed) Switch setup with the latest HATs pack. I only use it docked and always put it to sleep (never power off). It is always connected to the dock, thus always charging/charged.

I have noticed that when I put it to sleep and don't use it for 3+ days, it will not wake from sleep. The only way I can get it to wake is to hold the power button for 20 seconds (forced shutdown), wait a few, then press the power button again.

I am not sure where to start looking to diagnose why this happens, any ideas please?

I found a post with a potential solution. I will test for the next few weeks and see if it fixes the problem.
