ROM Hack MH GEN save to MH XX

Greetings.

Is it possible to transfer character save game from eu mh gen game to jap mh xx on 3ds? Or if it is,how to do so?

I know there is tool manager cia to transfer save from gen to mh x,but seems its not have option there to transfer to mh xx.

Also is there somewhere a full list of weapon and armor dlc exclusive in gen,to remove those to prevent crashes in mh xx?

P.s. where is currently more active online,in gen or hm xx?

Did it by following this instruction.

• Get CFW installed
• Install MHX Save Data Manager
• Using MHX Save Data Manager, backup/export your MHGen save for safety's sake.
• Using MHX Save Data Manager pick copy character and then pick Monster Hunter Generations for your region. Select the character slot you want to copy, then it'll ask you which game you want to copy the file to- pick Monster Hunter X (Japan) and pick a spot to drop that save in to.

As a note, if you don't have MHX data on your 3DS it won't work. The pastebin link has a file that you can import to your 3DS using SaveDataFiler that will take care of that issue.

From there, you just load up MHXX on your 3ds and mash through some prompts til you get to pick the character to transfer over.
