Gaming Mario Odyssey DLC?

So i was looking at the kingdom select screen, and i noticed a large land mass that leads me to believe the game will probably have dlc, what do you guys think? part of it looks like a wine bottle, maybe it'll be the alcohol kingdom, lol

The only DLC I heard people talking about was one for speedrunners that would add an in-game timer and let you map the motion controls to buttons. I would love to have more for this game though, maybe they could add an iconic area from the past games or something, kind of like the Throwback Galaxy from Galaxy2.

I wouldn't mind some DLC to add extra worlds. Sounds like a great idea. Especially likin' that suggestion for an Isle Delfino!

actually that would be great if they remade super sunshine as a expansion for odyessy. but let yohsi swim and have unlimited juices n water. let you take yohsi n fluid to the other kingdoms with thier abliities intact, after getting halfway in the story of ss. like add addtional content to the other kingdoms requiring fluid n yohsi.

yeah but then you fell like you have an unfinished game, i dont like dlc unless latter on they make a version with all dlc included on disc/cartrige, and we know nintendo doesnt do that look at the explorer edition of zelda they gave zero dlc and added a map and some useless crap ...

But you already got a finished game. Any DLC at this point would be brand new content they made after the fact. I don't see the problem in that. What's wrong with even more content?

like i said in afew years you say hey look i got mario odissey here and it had like 2 worlds dlc and now that switch servers are down you cant download them and you fell you have an unfinished game.

like i said if they make a goty,gold,final,essential version im ok with dlc but nintendo usualy doesnt do that.

Yeah if a game ships as a complete full game, but then later adds on with genuine bonus post-game content like what we've seen with BOTW, I have absolutely no issue with that. If however DLC is required to experience the full game, and is available on day one, then that's the kind of DLC I absolutely do not approve of.

So what? Those physical carts still have a full game on them. The DLC is then bonus content. Even if that bonus content is not available later, it's still just bonus content, and by buying just the base game, you still get a completed game. I don't understand why you'd be against even more content, content that isn't integral to the base game and is just good to have.

So, what you're saying is that we should be happy with what we get and wait for the sequel that may or may not happen? Nah. I'll gladly accept DLC. It's been around for years.

i would prefer they make a second game rather than quick cash grab dlcs that cost way too much, look at smash bros U, if you bough all the cosmetics and such you would pay way over 100$ just for the full dlc, that was ridiculous.
