Magic Castle is a game made on the Net Yaroze platform by a handful of Japanese developers back in 1997 for the Sony Playstation.
Net Yaroze was a Sony dev kit environment available for $1,119 for hobby developer.
One of the game designers, PIROWO, found the source code of this game and decided to finish the project for everyone to play.
The only missing features are the four player support and Japanese translation.
Keiichi Matsunami, the other designer who now works at Sega, said in an interview with netyaroze-europe that Magic Castle was created in just eight months as a pitch to a game production company.
Sony expressed interest, but asked the developers to work on another project at the company instead.
They turned down the proposal from Sony.
Eventually the team ran into financial problems and disbanded the project.
You can dowload the game on archive.org.

If anybody wants to use a cover for the game, here's one that I cooked up: https://i.imgur.com/3jHALQp.png
Thank you looks good and I now no longer have one game missing a cover.
