Howdy all.
So at work I have to use a Macbook Air Mid-2013 version, and for the past few months it's been having an issue with the wifi which has gotten increasingly worse over time.
Basically, every half hour or so the wifi will suddenly drop for a minute or 2 on the Mac. The wifi settings show it's still connected to the router, however I can't connect to the router's setting page. This is the only PC in the office doing this, we have 3 PCs (2 running Windows 8, 1 running Linux Mint) that have no problems when the Mac is down.
I assume there's some sort of interference going on that's causing the connection to drop, but I'm not entirely sure why that'd start randomly happening a few months ago when before that was fine...Any suggestions?
I've read around online and have seen various people suggesting disabling "Ask to Join New Networks" in the Network settings, so I'm going to do that and see if there's any change.
