Sounds like you fixed it, but for anyone else trying to compile source you need to go to the Github page, go to releases, and download the portlibs and libogc attached (even if you already have libogc installed, throws weird errors with the latest version), then put them in your devkitpro directory eg C:\DevKitPro\portlibs\ppc (make sure there's not a double folder when extracting so it's not \portlibs\portlibs or \libogc\libogc). You don't need to use build.py, put it in the root of libwiiu (eg \libwiiu\loadiine-gx2\src and installer etc) and then CD inside and run make, root will make the elf and in installer it'll make the .bin installer if you're using the web browser to launch and not the hbl

I don't want use the web browser to launch the exploit but i want to know how i can compile it because if i run make from installer always be terminated. The .elf compile is works just the .bin not. Any ideas?

I downloaded from here: https://github.com/wiiudev/libwiiu
Can you please link the correct libwiiu folder? Or what is the problem then?
The path should be relative to your error.
Error is in file launcher.c (So you should start from folder where that file is).
Error text states that it fails to find the path "../../libwiiu/src/types.h" so you need to make sure that you can get from folder with launcher.c to this file (.. means one level up from current).
btw. libwiiu repository contains inner folder libwiiu. So this is a path to that subfolder, not to the repository.

Looking far off, new Wii U titles in late 2016/early 2017 will require having firmware 5.5.1 or above, which means Loadiine HAS to support 5.5.1 at some point this year to play the newer games. I just hope the hacking scene can find an exploit in it already and help the thousands of us who accidentally updated to 5.5.1 already.

Thank you very much for the fast answer!
Is this microSD card fast enough to run WiiU games at full speed?
I don't know about mSD cards and wouldn't recommend them for Wii U usage but according to the speed it should be enough.
You will experience longer loading times than on disc games either way with Loadiine. :)

Thank you! Works now.

I tried to finish the Cave of Shadow dungeon in Twilight Princess.

On the last floor, enemys are stuck in the floor and in the walls. Tested it 3 times - same result.

Anyone have a build for commit 2e6a216b9fb7c6d5722dd71048f0d73864aa649f ?
My OSDrive fail rate over SD is very high. Every time I get done playing a game and shut off my console, then turn it back on and try to load another game it immediately fails every time.

How did you access the Cave of Shadow?
Do you have the official amiibo or is there some code to enable it?

Use the hbl method. Here is the latest commit for the kexploit and hbl elf with increased succes rate.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
