Technically, those are GNU products, but still not what I am talking about.
I am talking about the ill fated GNU OS, that never got finished, but somehow clings to Linux.

Don't you mean HURD? If so, I'm fairly certain the reason why HURD isn't really a thing is because Linux had practically the same goals as HURD while also maturing quite a bit faster than HURD.

Turns out, I was high as fuck and it was just PCLinuxOS.
Which actually isn't a shock because I actually was high as fuck when I made that disk and tested it.
