1. Have a US launch NTSC Wii with 3.1 US firmware
2. Getting Wiikey modchip installed tomorrow
3. Modchip alone does nothing, thats why I burned the Wiikey 1.9 Firmware update(filechopped) on a DVD-R
4. Put that in Wii, it recognizes it and it updates wiikey firmware
5. Region override on wiikey by default is off, so thats why I have a Wiikey Config 1.3 disk(filechopped and made into a GCOS) burned on DVD-R
6.Put that in Wii, it recognizes and from there i turn region override on, save, and reboot.
7. I have Smash burned on a DVD+R DL
and from there it should be able to work fine(with dual channels after I go through with the update off the disk but I dont care bout that)
This is correct, right?
Only thing I'm questioning or unsure about is if the wiikey 1.9 firmware update had to be made into a GCOS like the config disk...? Does it?
