My left joycon requires some pressure to put in place in the Switch. Is this a normal issue? The right joycon immediately get's into place. I received my Switch about half an hour ago from wehkamp. A Dutch web shop. It came with FW 2.3.0

Thanks. But the problem is that the left joycon requires to be pushed harder for the click while the right joycon slides into place smoothly with a click. This has me worried.

If it's only a little bit harder, don't worry, it's normal. My right joycon required a little more pressure than my left when I first bought it. Since then, it now goes in smoothly just like my left.

Thanks :) I ordered a new one because i still didn’t have a good feeling about this. I’m gonna return this one.

Sorry, but that is a bit stupid. The new ones will have the same issue, I guarantee it (because thats how new joycons behave). Will you return them too and start a never ending cycle of Joycon returns? :D

You’re right. The new Nintendo Switch has the same issue. But with the right joycon. What a bummer. I might return none of them and use one to play and one in the box until a softmod exploit is released. This is a privilege not many have due to the Nintendo Switch being quite expensive. But I have some spare change. They’re hard to get in some countries. Especially on a firmware lower than 3.0.0. They’re both on 2.3.0.

Oh, well then just do that! You get to play the latest games as well as have a system open for exploiting when that becomes a thing later.
