Why dont we ever get these rpgs? First Tales of graces, then xenoblade and now this? The only two we have on the wii are Dawn of a new world and ARc rise fantasia (which had a horrible translation)

"No Plans" doesn't necessarily mean "no".
.
Look at Dragon Quest 6 - a Square Euro rep tweeted about how they have no plans for releasing DQ6 just a month or two ago, and look where we are now!

I swear, if they don't bring this over with at least a half-decent translation, I am going to walk up to Nintendo of America and punch Reggie in the face. Then I'll apologize, because Nintendo is great. Seriously though, even Gameinformer showed an interest in this and they generally tend to be biased towards Wii and JRPGs. Someone needs to setup a site where everyone can demand a translation, so we can get this game.

Judging from the video, this game looks very good, both gameplay and graphics wise.
So this is dissapointing news.
But...

So it could happen eventually (Wii 2?).
Keep your fingers crossed.

Probably just a PR stunt to piss off the consumer and make demand for it go higher. Then when the do announce the release everybody will be like yay Nintendo rocks.

Not a surprise and I don't blame them, most new IP's don't do well on the Wii.

I do reckon Nintendo could clean up by doing joint releases on Wii and 3DS, spread the dev costs out a bit and maybe we could get Captain Rainbow.

It still isn't even out, so while they may have no plans to localise it now doesn't mean they won't ever.
Since we're on the subject of unreleased Wii RPGs:

Someone on another forum received this email from Amazon:

Hello,

We now have delivery date(s) for the order you placed on January 19 2010 (Order#XXXXXXXXXX):

"Monado: Beginning of the World"
Estimated arrival date: February 07 2011 - February 18 2011

If you want to check on the progress of your order, take a look at this page in Your Account:
AND in that forum another person who seems to have some sort of link to Nintendo says Xenoblade IS coming out at least in Europe.
Believe!

Xenoblade is still coming to North America. Nintendo retrademarked Monado in North America.

Also, why are you even worrying about The Last Story. The game isn't even out in japan yet, be patient.

Why would you think they'd announce a game in North America before it's released in japan? Unless it's Mario, Zelda or Pokemon, it's stupid to think they would do so.

“We have no plans at present” means they're just not ready to announce anything and want to keep it a secret from everyone.

Nintendo trademarked ASH and Card Hero too. I really really doubt they're gonna be released at this point, even after what Iwata said. So trademarks aren't an indication of much... Retailer leaks on the other hand, are.

I really wanted to play this game. Well, I still hope, but it's been dramatically cut down

Not really, they said they have no plans because they don't wanna say anything yet, they're just not ready. every companies does that.

No plans is a catch phrase that means We're thinking about it.

The game isn,t even out in japan yet, so I don't see how hope was cut down yet.
