I got a HP and i need to know how do i make it go to a secondary montior?

the screen broke and i need to get it to work on the monitor

You should check if the laptop has any output DisplayPort/HDMI ports.
If so, connect it to your TV.
As an alternative, you could try Bluetooth streaming, but that's slower.

If there is a dvi/hdmi/displayport out, just plugin a cable while the laotop is on, and picture will show on monitor/tv
