Will you guys stop quoting this. There are multiple reviewers working for Fatsumu. That, and when looked at as a virtual pet simulator, Nintendogs was the best in it's class.

nintendogs was pretty damn great when it came out...i remember buying the version with the pug in it

Melee had a more balenced experience and didn't have as many annoying varibles and that's great for people actually expect Nintendo to balence something. But Brawls sheer amount of content, great story (HEY! its still better then DoAs story.) and chaotic and crazy gameplay which is what SSBs should be about.

So that one person that reviewed NintendoDogs might had actually loved the game (she might be female also? You never know), and thus the high score.

Actually, usually unless its a exclusive review from a well known and respected reviewer most of the time its also got input from other reviewers in it. What these guys are really trying to do is call a game that most of them want, bad, (in some sense or another) it doesn't really matter though I think reviewers are just payed off douche bags who pretty much tell me what to think about a game I never played.
