KB4489868 fails to install - 0x800f0922

Hello everyone.

I have a dumb issue for months now.
First is was (and maybe still is) with KB4487017 and now with KB4489868.
KB4487017 has 2 error codes as seen in the screenshot. Other updates just install sucessfully.

I'll get the issue: 'The updates could not complete the updates. Undoing changes.' It then restarts once and shows the message again, but then Windows boots up to the desktop normally.
So it actually takes up about 30 minutes when the updates fail.
The worst thing is it downloads the same corrupt update and then it happens again when I want to shut down the PC...

What I have tried: Install the .NET framework components, reset update cache, sfc /scannow.
Everything did not work.

What can I do?

It looks like it succeeded after it failed. If you restart your computer and check the build, it's probably on 17134.648. That means it succeeded.

If it hasn't installed, you could try installing it manually. I'd recommend installing 1903 or 1809 manually instead.

I'm sure it will fail again. I still don't even have the guts to install 1809 really.
My trust to Microsoft is really gone, but I need to keep using Windows for stuff.
Is 1903 already out yet?

The bugs with 1809 were patched a long time ago. There's no reason not to update to 1809, unless you want to go straight to 1903 instead.

1903 hasn't hit the Release Preview channel yet, but it's almost certainly going to be build 18362.1. In other words, 18362.1 is RTM. You can download it from the Windows Update servers using the UUP dump website.

1. Low System Reserved partition space

And how can this resolved ? You can´t do it with Windows "materials on board" (only make it smaller..) And not every User has an Partion Tool by the hand.

Windows 10 do this automatically on install.

I was just pointing out the possible reason it failed, don't quote me on this, I haven't had a failed update on own laptop.
