Hardware Is there any way to modify the CyberSave to work with US?

Hello, this is my first post so sorry if I'm a bit nooby.

I would like to know if it were possible to modify the Cyber Save Editor to work with US cartridges. Is it a hardware thing (like maybe the reader is JP region-lock) or a software thing?

Again, I'm sorry if I'm completely noobish.
