c64 had fail sound, amiga 1200 was where it was at

The A1200 had a sound chip that was 10 years old. Paula was the only chip that had no changes from OCS to ECS to AGA... The A500 had amazing sound capabilities for its time, but by the time the A1200 was released most other systems were using 16 bit sound. 4 chanel 8 bit was by no means amazing at that point in time.

Note to mods.... Maybe the retro sound chip posts in this thread could be split into a different thread in 'general computing'? It's an interesting topic in it's own right

I hope all private kernel exploits will be kept private and see if they will still work on the upcoming update.
MyNintendo is close to relese, let's see what happens.

For the rest you can actually give up the hope for an IOSU exploit completely.

Well, aparently MyNintendo doesn't change anything on 3DS/Wii U side, your NNID info and activity is stored server side so any disscount will work that way. In short there's no change on eShop itself at all, no system update involved.
MyNintendo account is the new Club Nintendo, you can access through your browser

no new firmware release equals no new kexploit for 5.5.1.+ users......goodnight....
I seriously doubt Nintendo will ever update the Wii U again. Why should they? Since nobody will release any exploit until they do, they can safely be assured that no more exploits will be released by not updating the system any further ...

im betting when a new fw gets released that blocks the 5.5.1 exploit most people here still havent blocked their updates and we will see countless threads and post of people saying my wiiu was updated by accident lol.

They still need at least one update more, to implement the cloud save system, it's just they are not releasing it at the same time as MyNintendo it seems.

Was that a feature announced? I know that it was kind of assumed that the NX platform would be compatible with the Wii U, but Nintendo has never flat out said that that would be a thing

Are you near sea/salt water, or in general they just don't last. Sounds like if you driving a mercedes, you need a garage. I get snow n ice here so nothing worse than clearing that shit off at 6am rushing to get to work.
