Need beginners help with hacking wii u with Aroma. Basic and "advanced" questions

So I have followed the steps from https://aroma.foryour.cafe/ and gotten all the way to here https://wiiu.hacks.guide/#/aroma/autobooting .....I think.

1. Launch the EnvironmentLoader.
   • If you are autobooting the PayloadLoader, simply turn on your Wii U.
   • If you skipped the autobooting steps, launch the Health and Safety Information app.
2. Using the D-Pad, navigate to aroma and press Y to set this to your default environment, then press A to launch into Aroma.

I dont understand, I don't have aroma on my wii u menu screen. I am autobooting I think, since that is what i followed. But im not sure it worked.

There are so many more questions that i have, is there anyone who is a veteran in this scene that is willing to help me out? I don't want to bombard with questions here.
Appreciate it if anyone could take some time and help me set it up properly as I feel a little lost here in this process.

Also, is there a way to reset the wii u to factory setting and restarting the whole process as it seems it would be easier at this point, or is it like once its installed its always there?
My discreader is broken so I need to have backup of my games to be able to play.
