They´re physically the same. So yeah.

However TV-output cables will likely to be different because of motherboard rev.

Oh. Since TV cables are recommended for PSP2000 only.. But ok I own both models and i´ll give a try.

Yeah, it's a difference between 1k and 2k models, that's why it says that on the box? I guess.
