Especially Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo. Does RetroArch support this? I can't get this to work. Are there Bios files needed? What core to use? Any help is appreciate.

hay there!
um to get Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo (Castlevania: Rondo of Blood)
working in PS vita's RetroArch you need to do the following:

1) put your copy of the game (ISO/WAV/CUE) archive in a ROMS folder in
"UX0: data/retroarch/ROMS/PC Engine/Gamename/ISO/WAV/CUE files"

2) use the newest retro arch version for ps vita (1.7.5):

https://www.retroarch.com/?page=platforms

3) yes, the PC engine/trubo CD emulator for retro arch vita needs the bios to work properly:

https://docs.libretro.com/library/beetle_pce_fast/

the bios (syscard3.pce) you place in "Retroarch/system/ "

just follow the instructions in the link above.

the emulator for pc engine is only 1:

beetle_pce_fast

and it works great :)

I got YS IV Dawn of YS for pc engine that was (J) and
I patched to English dub + text using some tools and it runs perfectly in this emulator on vita!

hope this helps you :)

HUDSON developed an official emulator for his PC Engine Best Collection series. It worked perfectly fine with most PC Engine CD games, including Rondo of Blood.

Tho you will need to swap games and it involves some really old PSP tools like the Codemasters AT3 converter and stuff like that.
