Iran deserves it, they need to stop their nuclear program and get rid of the corrupt president and religious clerics who actually run the country.

I will give you every right to say so as soon as the U.S dismantles the last nuclear warhead they have at their disposal.

Until then, please hush.

Your big country uses scare tactics and in extreme cases invades countries that want to arm themselves with nukes, pointing out that it's very naughty to do so while at the same time they have *consciderable* ammounts of nukes themselves.

Moral from the story is very simple, whoever starts a nuclear program first gets to hold the rockets. That *shouldn't* be the case.

Moral number two is what follows: "For some bizzare reason, the U.S govermnent feels like they're the world's number one police officer, but they fail to see crime in their own neighbourhood".

I bet you a million bucks that if N.A.T.O made a search for weapons of mass destruction in the U.S, they'd find more of them there than they did in Iraq, Afganistan and many other coutries they invaded over the years.
Maybe the USA is doing that because they don't want those countries to use the nukes? Everyone knows what those crazy countries would do with those nukes.

Sure, that is a rather firm logic you're exhibiting there.

But is the U.S really a *sane* country, seeing that they started 3 wars throught the time-span of Bush's and Barrac's presidency?

A canadian writer, I believe it was Margaret Atwood once said that "The U.S.A is like a little child in a sandbox, fighting with other children while holding a toy shovel, but what's truly worrying is that the toy shovel are nuclear weapons". That's not an exact quote, but I sure as hell don't feel like looking through my literature notes.

It's hard not to agree, having the U.S.A's military history in mind. The U.S seems to *need* the presence of an enemy, be it a small or a big one. Think of Gaddafi's forces. His entire air force was destroyed within 24 hours. *That's* that great enemy from the east we're supposed to be deathly afraid of?

Besides, enlighten me. What would the crazy countries do with the nukes? The essence of war is that you're supposed to gain something. When using nukes, the entire territory affected is obliterated. You don't *gain* anything from using them, moreover, you may actually *loose* if the weather will choose to be a bitch and carry the irradiated cloud towards your own country, affecting your home with background radiation. So far, the only country that USED nuclear warheads happens to be the U.S itself.

Korea has nukes and carries on threatening the world, but they didn't use them once. They're an insane country. Why not invade *them*? I'll tell you why. Because they WOULD use the nukes. Their rockets don't even have enough range to reach the U.S, but they'd strike the allied countries regardless. Just to prove a point. They'd struck the nuclear spark without a second thought. That's why the U.S carries on picking enemies which they can destroy fairly quickly and with little loss of life. It's much easier to attack countries under the pretense that they may have weapons of mass destruction than to attack countries that are 100% sure to have them. If I were to call this somehow, I'd say it's "being an international terrorist with the blessing of other countries to do so".

Nuclear arsenal is like a big scare gun. It has a label. "Don't attack us, or we'll send you back to Stone Age". It's more of a defense mechanism rather than an actual "weapon". The U.S.A can't afford to have countries like Iran and Iraq to have nuclear programs. That'd make them immune to outside pressure, that'd give them independence and the right to choose their own prices for oil - the resource they happen to have, and the same one the U.S.A craves to get. They cannot be immune to intervention, thus their efforts at arming themselves are thwarted.
