This might be relevant for everyone who doesn't have the Nintendo Zone Viewer active. You have to be connected to an open WiFi Network named NintendoSpotPass1 or NintendoSpotPass2. This will make the Nintendo Zone Viewer visible on the home screen.

You have to be connected to the network. So you either want to use the first WiFi profile for it or you use the Rosalina menu to force your 3DS to connect using the set profile.
But isn’t the wifi hotspot inactive since nobody uses it? Also, I don’t think it works anymore since I can’t connect to it

People used Nintendo zone to watch trailers, watch Pokémon episodes, download demos, and trivia. That’s all I know

Not on the USA so I don't think I would have been able to watch the Pokemon episodes.

Anyway, I guess however is working on the Mii stuff is waiting until Nintendo fully pulls the plug in the 3DS meaning not only being unable to buy games but even download stuff you already bought? Amazing it took that long for that to happen to the Wii by the way.

Make one using a Smartphone then connect to it.

That worked, thank you. :)

Only problem is that I am now getting an error code (013-8000). This only happens with Nintendo Zone. What can I do?

Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it. Be sure to have Luma on SD instead of the NAND. ^^

Would it work if someone made a homebrew Nintendo Zone icon that links to the title folder satella zone is installed in?
I believe that all SZ does is just patch the original Nintendo Zone Viewer. If someone would make a homebrew NZ app, it would have a different Title ID and thus the patch won't work.

Then why does USA Nintendo Zone Viewer title ID launch using FBI but not from the icon on the home screen? Shouldn't the icon be accessing the same title ID found in FBI? Seems like it's not.

I think Rosalina could make it possible if there was an option added to switch the Nintendo Zone title ID to the current app.

I've got an European 3ds and so, my Nintendo Zone Viewer was hidden. I've discovered that if you correctly place the files in its corresponding folder and then iniciate the app from the FBI title menu, not only Satella Zone will work flawlessly but once you exit the app, it will appear in your 3ds menu.

Therefore, I suggest forgetting about hooking up your 3ds to an open wifi network and stick to this method:

1) Paste the files in the luma folder under its correspondent TitleID
2) Select Patch titles in the Luma Menu
3) Open FBI and navigate to Titles
4) Navegate for SatellaMenu!

I cannot See Patch titles options on Luma3DS Menu. Or Did I misunderstand Luma Menu?
