I know there's a method for getting saves from injected CIA GBA on the 3DS but is there a way for converting saves from VBA to GBA and then I can put that particular save into the VC GBA? Any inputs are appreciated, thanks!

Just inject the save of the game, just that, vc uses .sav files, you must just inject it with godmode9 almost the same like dump saves, the save of a link to the past and four swords in vc was smaller than I download from internet, for get the 3 keys to play 4 sword castle, and the game recognise it and thats the save I got now
You might need to convert the save before restoring it, but i'm not sure. Compare the file size between the two and see if both have the same extension .sav at the end. If they're the same size, try restoring the save and see if it works.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
